RDS hires Controller

Rebecca Alack Prevost is a lifelong resident of Hammond, LA. Graduating with honors, Rebecca obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from Southeastern Louisiana University, with a major in accounting in December of 1998. She began work with a CPA firm in New Orleans, where she remained for six and half years, providing senior tax services. Mrs. Prevost made the transition from her New Orleans firm to Bruce Harrell and Company in June of 2005 where she worked as a tax manager till January 2022. Over her 20+ years of experience, she has done work in all areas of tax and financial reporting.

Rebecca has worked closely with RDS assisting with their accounting and tax needs since the business started in 2015 through Bruce Harrell & Co. When RDS decided an in-house controller was needed it just seemed fitting for her to transition to that position.

Rebecca and her husband, Jacob have been able to travel and live in different areas of the country due to his job as a superintendent for an oil & gas construction company. They are currently living in the Galveston, TX area.

Our growth over the last few years has led us to the point where we needed to bring accounting in-house. Rebecca has been managing our account since our inception and has always felt like a part of the team. We are thrilled to have her officially join the team!
